Why is my website not displaying properly after you [SLB] changed or edited it? Some, or all of it, is jumbled!

Your computer’s cache most likely has the pre-edited version stored, and it is not properly displaying the new edited version. To fix this, you must clear your cache. The easiest way to clear your cache is to refresh your browser.

You can refresh by clicking this icon at the top of your browser: Refresh Page Icon

  • On a PC: to refresh your browser, make sure your browser is open and hit the "f5" key. If that does not work, you can do a hard refresh by holding the "shift" key and pressing "f5".
  • On a Mac: To refresh your browser, hold down the 'Command" key and press "R"

If refreshing the browser does not help with whatever errors you are experiencing, please create a detailed document of the errors including the page name, the URL, a defined description of the errors you are experiencing, and what the page should look like. The more detail included, the better we can help you!

How can I make some quick changes or edits to the content on my website?

There are 2 ways to do this:

  • Most of our clients email us their changes/edits in a detailed document. If it is a handful of text changes and few image swaps, it typically takes us less than 30 minutes. If you have one of our support packages, there are no charges to make small edits and updates every month. If you have many edits or are unsure how to implement new content or a new idea, please please create a detailed document of the errors including the page name, the URL, a detailed description of the which images and/or content will be switched out. The more detail included, the better we can help you! We typically recommend using Dropbox when deailing with higher quantities or larger file sizes but if you only need a few images changes, feel free to email us.
  • Most of our custom websites come with a Content Management System (CMS) that allows our clients to make changes themselves.
